Summary

The general terms and conditions stated here apply to all users of the system and strive to ensure that any learning content or interactions otherwise conducted on or through the use of the system is delivered in accordance with Commercial Mortgage Company Sales (Pty) Ltd's requirements as it relates to safety, security, quality and integrity. 

Full policy

  • Courses cannot be transferred to another learner.
  • If for whatever reason a leaner is not able to attend an online session, it will be the learner's responsibility to catch up on the session/s.
  • The learning material provided should not be shared with anyone else.
  • All instructions, including the calendar with number of sessions and times will be emailed to the email address provided. The learner undertakes to provide the SDP, if any of their details should change, whilst enrolled for the course.
  • Commercial Mortgage Company Sales (Pty) Ltd will not be held liable for any data or technological challenges.
  • All logistical costs (telephone, internet, printing etc.) associated with the learning will be for the learner's account.
  • Facilitators, venue, timetable, and timing may change if necessary. These changes will be communicated to the learners timeously.
  • Commercial Mortgage Company Sales (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to change, add, remove parts of training material if it is deemed necessary to do so.
  • Learning material will be provided via the e-learning platform; login details will be provided once payment has been received.
  • Full course fees must be paid for your Portfolio of evidence to be assessed and moderated.
  • Commercial Mortgage Company Sales (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to postpone / cancel scheduled training if the minimum number of registrations per class are not met or for any unforeseen circumstances. The Skills Development Provider will communicate alternative dates, in this instance.
  • It is the responsibility of the learners to make copies of any work that will form part of their portfolios BEFORE uploading this onto the LMS system. The Assessor will assess the Portfolio`s online. All the files will be archived electronically for five years, and we will NOT be able to access it.
  •  Commercial Mortgage Company Sales (Pty) Ltd will not be responsible if a learner drops out of the course for any reason.
  • The learner is aware that he/she will still need to write an External Integrated Summative Assessment at an accredited Assessment Centre. Only upon successful completion and having met the exit level outcomes of the Qualification, will the QCTO issue a Certificate. Mortgage Company Sales (Pty) Ltd will not be responsible for the delay in the issuing of such a Certificate on the part of the QCTO.
  • Once a signed application form and payment has been received by , Commercial Mortgage Company Sales (Pty) Ltd no refunds will be made.

Full policy

All learning material including online facilitator presentations remain the intellectual property of or its licensors, whether adapted, written for, or customised for the client or not.

Any unauthorised user of the system may under any circumstances:

  • copy, modify, reproduce, re-publish, sub-license, sell, upload, broadcast, post, transmit or distribute any of the learning material without prior written permission.
  • record on video or audio tape, relay by videophone or other means the online or classroom content.
  • use the course materials in the provision of any other course or training whether given by us or any third-party trainer,
  • remove any copyright or other notice of Charter Academy on the learning material. modify, adapt, merge, translate, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer (save to the extent permitted by law) any software forming part of the online content.
